Why Your Company Profile Matters
Your company profile is the first thing many candidates see before they decide to apply. On Metaintro, job seekers frequently browse employer profiles to evaluate culture, benefits, and team dynamics alongside the job listing itself. A complete, well-maintained profile can be the difference between a strong candidate clicking "Apply" or moving on.
Profiles also feed into Metaintro's AI matching system. When candidates use Threads to search for jobs, the AI considers company attributes such as industry, size, culture keywords, and benefits to make personalized recommendations. The more detailed your profile, the more accurately candidates are matched to your openings.
Setting Up Your Profile
To create or edit your company profile, navigate to Company Settings in your employer dashboard and select the Profile tab.
Logo and Branding
Logo -- Upload a high-resolution square image (at least 400x400 pixels). This appears on all your job listings, search results, and candidate communications.
Cover image -- An optional banner image displayed at the top of your profile page. Use a photo that represents your workspace, team, or brand identity.
Brand colors -- Set a primary brand color that will be used as an accent on your profile page.
Company Description
Write a concise overview of your organization. This section should answer three questions for candidates:
What does your company do? -- Describe your product, service, or mission in plain language.
What makes you different? -- Highlight what sets you apart from competitors, whether it is technology, approach, market position, or impact.
What stage is the company in? -- Candidates want to know if you are a startup, scale-up, or established enterprise.
Aim for 150 to 300 words. Be authentic and specific rather than relying on generic corporate language.
Culture and Values
The culture section lets you communicate what working at your company feels like on a day-to-day basis.
Core values -- List three to five values that genuinely drive decisions at your organization. Avoid aspirational values that do not reflect current reality.
Work style -- Describe your approach to collaboration, flexibility, and autonomy. Candidates want to know if you are highly structured or more self-directed.
Diversity and inclusion -- Share your commitments and any specific programs or employee resource groups that support an inclusive workplace.
Team rituals -- Mention regular practices like all-hands meetings, hack weeks, learning stipends, or social events that define your culture.
Benefits and Perks
A detailed benefits section helps candidates compare offers and often influences their decision to apply. Include:
Health and wellness coverage (medical, dental, vision, mental health)
Retirement and financial benefits (401k match, equity, profit sharing)
Time off policies (PTO days, sick leave, parental leave, sabbaticals)
Professional development (learning budgets, conference attendance, mentorship programs)
Lifestyle perks (remote work stipend, gym membership, meal allowances, commuter benefits)
Each benefit can be tagged with a category so candidates can filter and compare easily.
Office Locations
Add every office where your team operates, including address, type (headquarters, regional, co-working), available amenities, and workspace photos. If your company is fully remote, indicate this clearly and describe any geographic hubs where team members are concentrated.
Social Links
Connect your external presence by adding links to your company website, LinkedIn page, Twitter / X, Instagram, and any engineering blog or tech publication. These links give candidates additional channels to learn about you.
Verification Process
Verified employers earn a trust badge that appears on their profile and all job listings. Verification signals to candidates that your organization is legitimate, which is especially important in a landscape where job seekers are wary of scams.
To get verified:
Navigate to Company Settings and select Verification.
Submit your company domain, a corporate email address, and any supporting documentation (such as a business registration number).
Our team reviews the submission, typically within two business days.
Once approved, the verification badge appears automatically across your profile and listings.
If you change your company domain or legal entity, you may need to re-verify.
How Your Profile Appears to Job Seekers
Candidates encounter your profile on job listing pages (as a summary card with logo and verification badge), in direct company search results, and within Threads AI recommendations. Candidates can also follow your company to receive notifications about new roles.
Keeping Your Profile Updated
A stale profile can signal that your company is not actively hiring. Set a quarterly reminder to refresh headcount, add new benefits, update your company description to reflect milestones, upload recent team photos, and verify that social links are still active.
