Your Candidate Pipeline at a Glance
Metaintro gives you a centralized workspace to manage every candidate who applies to your open roles. Instead of juggling spreadsheets, email threads, and calendar invites, you handle the entire hiring workflow from a single dashboard. Every application, note, interview, and decision lives in one place.
To access your pipeline, navigate to the Candidates tab in your employer dashboard. You will see a board-style view organized by stage, with each candidate card showing their name, application date, match score, and current status.
Reviewing Incoming Applications
When a candidate applies to one of your listings, their profile appears in the New Applications column. Each application includes:
Resume and profile summary -- A structured overview of their experience, skills, and education pulled from their Metaintro profile and uploaded documents.
AI Match Score -- A percentage-based score that indicates how well the candidate's qualifications align with your job requirements. Candidates scoring above 80% are flagged as strong matches.
Cover note -- If the candidate included a message or answered your screening questions, those responses appear here.
Application source -- Whether the candidate found your listing through Threads, direct search, or a shared link.
You can sort and filter applications by match score, date, location, or any custom screening question response.
AI-Powered Candidate Ranking
Metaintro's ranking engine goes beyond keyword matching. It evaluates candidates on multiple dimensions:
Skills alignment -- How closely the candidate's stated and inferred skills match your requirements.
Experience relevance -- Whether their career history demonstrates relevant accomplishments at a comparable level.
Cultural signals -- Indicators from their profile such as preferred work style, values alignment, and industry interest.
The ranking updates dynamically as new applications arrive, so your strongest candidates always surface at the top. You can adjust the weighting of each factor from the pipeline settings to reflect your team's priorities.
Shortlisting and Moving Candidates Through Stages
Your pipeline includes default stages that you can customize to match your hiring process:
New Application -- Unreviewed submissions.
Under Review -- Applications your team is actively evaluating.
Shortlisted -- Candidates selected for further consideration.
Interview -- Candidates who have been scheduled for or completed an interview.
Offer -- Candidates who have received or accepted an offer.
Hired / Rejected -- Final outcomes.
Drag and drop candidate cards between stages, or use the bulk action toolbar to move multiple candidates at once. Each stage transition is logged with a timestamp so you can track cycle times and identify bottlenecks.
Communication Tools
Metaintro provides in-platform messaging so you never have to leave the dashboard to contact a candidate.
Direct messages -- Send a message to any candidate from their profile card. Messages appear in their Metaintro inbox and trigger an email notification.
Templates -- Save frequently used messages such as interview invitations, rejection notices, and follow-up prompts as reusable templates.
Scheduled sends -- Compose a message now and schedule it for a specific date and time.
All communication history is attached to the candidate's profile, giving your entire team visibility into what has been said.
Interview Scheduling
From the candidate's profile, select Schedule Interview to open the scheduling tool. You can:
Propose multiple time slots and let the candidate choose.
Connect your calendar (Google Calendar or Outlook) to avoid double-booking.
Add interviewers from your team so they receive calendar invitations automatically.
Include meeting links for video calls or office directions for in-person interviews.
Once the candidate confirms a slot, the interview appears on both your dashboard calendar and the candidate's Metaintro account.
Team Collaboration
Hiring decisions are rarely made by one person. Metaintro supports collaborative evaluation:
Team notes -- Any team member with access to the pipeline can leave internal notes on a candidate. Notes are visible only to your organization, never to the candidate.
Scorecards -- After an interview, each interviewer can fill out a structured scorecard rating the candidate on dimensions you define.
Voting -- Use the thumbs-up or thumbs-down voting feature on shortlisted candidates to quickly gather team sentiment before making a final decision.
Activity log -- A chronological feed shows every action taken on a candidate, from initial review to final disposition, so everyone stays aligned.
Tips for an Efficient Workflow
Review applications within 48 hours. Quick responses signal a professional process.
Use AI match scores as a starting point, not a final verdict. Strong candidates sometimes have unconventional backgrounds.
Keep pipeline stages up to date. Accurate data helps you measure time-to-hire.
Leverage templates for common communications. Consistency reflects well on your employer brand.
